Active Credit Services, Inc. and Active TeleSource, Inc. (collectively called The Active Group) were founded as corporations in Oregon in July 1997. Active’s president and founder, Goran Samojlovski, was managing partner and co-founder of the Portland office of a regional collection agency headquartered in Kirkland, Washington since 1984 until a merger with a national agency and consolidation into the Kirkland operation in May of 1997.
Mr. Samojlovski declined to relocate his family and used his employment change as an opportunity to start a new firm, Active Credit Services, and co-found a sister firm, Active TeleSource along with long-time associate Gary L. Clark. Mr. Clark is a certified software developer with a background in the collection industry and call center applications. Together Gary and Goran developed the custom call center application utilized by both ATI and ACS and began their vision of providing clients with a full range of outsourcing services to implement at any level of a customer’s cycle. We have since organically grown to one of the largest independent agencies in Oregon.
